PETRIFIED FOREST PICTURES

This post is going to be pictures, rather than a slide show of the Petrified Forest.

The reason I do this, is because every six months I have my blog made into a book. The slide show pictures will not print in the book so I need a few pictures for the book.

 

 

 

  

This pictures shows the petrified wood poking out of the mountainside. As the mountain erodes, the wood becomes exposed and eventually is freed to fall down into the valley below.
