FRIENDSHIP – A GREAT THING

On Sunday our friend, Linda, met up with us in Sheffield, PA. She spent the week with us as we MVI_6794traveled around the state of New York.

I have actually known Linda longer than I’ve known Jim. In fact, Linda was with me the night we met Jim. I can still remember the words she said to me as we headed home - “I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of this guy.” She certainly got that one right.

We decided to try this experiment of having Linda live with us for a week to see if we could all still be friends after it was over. And guess what – it was a major success! She wanted to learn more about the RV lifestyle and I think she’s decided that living full time in one would not be her cup of tea. But we had a wonderful time and look forward to her joining us again on our travels. Since she is still among the “working” class, we’ll just have to plan it around when she can take vacation time.

Linda hates to have her picture taken but I was able to take a couple of them. Off we go into New York State.

  1. Nice that you shared your RV with your friend. It gave her an opportunity to learn that it probably isn't something she would want to do - and that's OK. Now she knows.

  2. You know what they say about old friends ... something like "Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver the other gold."
