The Avenue of the Giants is a scenic 31 mile portion of old Highway 101. 
This drive takes you through some of the tallest and most beautiful giant redwood groves in Northern California.
There is absolutely no way that 
words (at least not my words) or my pictures can describe what it is like to be among these trees. They are incredible.
The route also follows along beside the Eel River. This is definitely a must due when you are in this area.
