InfoZone News Museum

Pueblo, CO  High 82  Low 51

After the relaxing ride and great lunch, I drug Jim to one more museum. The InfoZone News Museum.

It is located on the 4th floor of the:

One of the smallest museums we have visited but very interesting. Jim is always fascinated by the typesetting process.

The InfoZone News Museum is an interactive museum. Their mission is to provide broader knowledge of news and information. The museum focuses on journalism, the First Amendment, historic news and current events that affect our world.

On Monday we moved 26 miles east to Mountaindale RV Park. This park is also Passport America but is $21 a night. Talk about changing locations. We are now in the midst of a forest outside of Colorado Springs. We’ll be here until Thursday before heading further north.

These pretty gals wandered through our site the other night. There were six of them. How cool is that.

  2. I'd love to see that museum. In a previous life, when just out of school, I spent a brief 6 months as a Typesetter apprentice. Boy, do I remember those lead melting pots. That was my job each and every morning - melting lead and pouring what were call 'pigs'.

    Thanks for the memories.

  4. Tell Ginger and Jesse Haman that we said hello.

We worked with them in New York a couple of years ago. Ginger works in the office there and Jesse does maintenance.

  5. Another cool, off the wall museum. How do you find them? And how do you find the energy to see them all? :cD

  7. Now I feel bad that we didn't stay longer in Pueblo, but we did have a deadline in Denver. My Uncle would have loved that museum.

  9. You see the most interesting things in your travels. Since I can't walk, I enjoy seeing them through your eyes.
