25th_ani_logo We met up with Jan, Bill, Lee, Loralie, Dave, and Sherry one night for dinner at Burgers and Beer.

This was a really great place but you need to get there early because they get really busy about 5:30 or so.

Some of the group decided to be healthy and had salads rather than burgers and even the salads were good. But I have no doubt that my burger was better. We also had sweet potato fries which were wonderful.

This group all own fifth wheels and it is harder to boon dock in a fifth wheel compared to a motor home. The main reason is because you have to go outside to turn on or off your generator. In a motor home you can just flip a switch inside and you’re good to go. So these three couples were all parked in rv parks in Yuma.

But boon docking or not – it is so much fun to catch up with these friends again. We hope to get together again when we get back to the Phoenix area.

  1. I had to laugh when you said it was harder to boondock in a 5th wheel than a motorhome because they had to go outside and turn on the generator. We did with our 5th wheel. However, must admit that I'd much rather have full hookups most of the time no matter what we're in.

Thanks for visiting today. I look forward to reading your comments. Have a beautiful day.
