As reported earlier, Dale Earnhart, Sr. has always been Jim's favorite driver. He established Dale Earnhart Inc (DEI) and their headquarters is in Mooresville, NC. 
They have a wonderful tribute to Dale in the form of a small museum. These are some of Jim's favorite pictures that he took while we were there.
DEI had to be a heart wrenching and exhilarating experience. I will never forget that Daytona 500, it was the first race my stepson ever watched and he had a racing champions 1/64th #3 car in his hand at the time of the wreck. I'd followed Dale since his Wrangler sponsership days. On a lighter note, I hope Jim enjoys his Lowes track session! Take lot's of pictures!
