CENTER OF THE NATION

Belle Fourche is considered the Center of the Nation and has a monument in town to mark the point.

The actual center of the nation marker is several miles out of town in the middle of a privately owned field. The only thing there is a red stake stuck in a rock. We didn’t actually go out there but this is a picture of what is there.
