Falls and Time to Relax

Sandpoint, ID  High 74  Low 52

We stopped at the Kootenai Falls and thought we would take the time to view them since we were only going 80 miles.

Skittlez was invited to go with us and her little legs were ready to go. We walked down to the overlook.

The next part of the trail was considered moderate but it turned out to be too much for my ankle. We made it down to the bridge that goes over the RR tracks and Skittlez freaked out when the train went underneath her.

Then Jim saw all the steps and I knew I was done for. So we turned around and headed back to the truck.

We stopped for the night at the fairgrounds in Sandpoint, ID and didn’t even unhitch. Just took the time to relax. No TV so we didn’t have to watch the debate. (Can you tell I’m way behind on posting blogs. We are in Clarkston, WA and are headed for Council, ID tomorrow.)

  1. If the TV worked you would have HAD TO watch the debate?!!

  2. I guess we need to check out the fairgrounds next time. We didn't do too well in Sandpoint.

  3. Dang. I was looking forward to seeing the falls. I love them. I think they are so relaxing.

  4. Relax take your time and enjoy your travels. always another time...

  5. I don't have TV so I don't have to watch any !debates, incessant news coverage, or all the grief that goes on in the world. I'd rather read about the travels of others and imagine myself riding along with ya!

The temps there look similar to what we are having, thank goodness. I didn't think I'd ever see an end to the hot, hot weather.

  6. Love the pictures and Skittlez with her happy face waiting for her mom

  7. We didn't watch any debates yesterday either. I guess I'll read about them on the web in a few minutes.

  8. Take time to relax. We have had a few days to relax and what a difference it makes.

Thanks for visiting today. I look forward to reading your comments. Have a beautiful day.
