Billings, MT High 73 Low 53
Today is Jim’s birthday and I want to tell him how much I love him and how proud I am to be his wife.
We started the day by having breakfast at his favorite breakfast restaurant – Cracker Barrel. He loves their country ham and grits. Can you tell he’s from Virginia?
The rest of the day was pretty mundane. We did laundry and ran errands because we are heading out tomorrow.
Our big celebration was last night when Todd and Michaela joined us for dinner at the Montana Club. Jim and I split a rib eye and it was really good. However, the steak we had at Marysville still ranks at number one. It was fun to spend time with the kids and we said our see yas til next year.
The Moose Lodge camping area is empty except for our rig and one other. Too bad the trains and traffic are still running. I am looking forward to a much quieter night tomorrow night.
My guys and girl
We are slowly going to be making our way towards Kalispell. First stop will be James Kipp BLM area about 40 miles north of Grass Range. That’s north of Billings on the way to Havre.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM,

Happy 1 day late birthday, Jim! Cracker Barrel is my fav too. I love the pancakes! Only place that knows how to make real fluffy pancakes.
ReplyDeleteHappy BD Jim and many more to come.
ReplyDeleteGive him a big birthday kiss from us.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Jim! Great he could celebrate with the kids. ( They'll always be kids no matter how old they are. ) So you'll be going across on 2. Don't think we've done much of that. And never been to Upper Missouri River Breaks. Should be interesting.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Jim! Good to see you celebrating with the kids.
ReplyDeleteYou're ging north on your way south? Be aware there's a BNSF mainline that runs parallel to US Hwy 2 so you'll still have trains if that's your chosen route.
You're looking good, Birthday Boy! Glad you were able to celebrate with family and a great dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Jim and many more!
