Pilot Knob, CA

High  67  Low 47

We are currently boondocking at Pilot Knob BLM 14 day camping area. My internet connection is horrible. I cannot upload pictures and they won’t load when I try to pull up a blog. So I won’t be posting or reading much unless I can get someplace in town.

We had a great campfire last night with Toni and Doug, Jan and Bill, Tom and Diane. Dianna came down with us but she had to return to Phoenix and won’t be back til tomorrow.

Today was a relax and do nothing day. Tomorrow is the dentist for Bill, Tom, Diane, Jim and I in Algodones.

Hopefully this will post.

  7. Is there still some pretty good shopping there? Or have things scaled way down? We stayed at the casino and dry-camped three years ago and I wonder if Algodones is safe? And lots of tourists or has it tapered off?

  12. I think everyone was having trouble with Blogger last night... so it might not have been your connection?

  15. Neat how you know so many people everywhere you go. Do you all go mostly to the same places each year as you travel? We sometimes tend to go back to places we like --over and over….

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  17. It's so annoying to have a slow or problematic internet connection when you're too excited to post photos, right? Anyway, I believe you have to enjoy the moments during your boondocking. Take photos and save them first in your PC. As soon as your internet connection is fixed, I'm sure your readers will enjoy the photo overload. :)
