We Get To See More Friends

Linda and Ed used to be full time RVers. But a couple of years ago a semi truck totaled their motorhome. They were not injured but after such a traumatic experience, they decided to come off the road. They definitely made the right decision. They are really having fun. They met us for breakfast at River City Diner and we got to hear all about their Alaskan cruise Found out that they have booked a Caribbean cruise later this year.

Thursday night we drove over to New Kent to Eileen and David’s new house for dinner. They are in an active 55+ community with beautiful homes. The road to their house is typical of the backroads of Virginia. As you can see, there is no color yet in the leaves.

Eileen is the first person I met at the IRS when I moved to DC to work there. I had gotten lost on the subway and was late for work. She helped me get all the paperwork done and caught up with the new hire group. We’ve been great friends ever since. That was 38 years ago.

She and David are leaving Tuesday for London and Paris. Have a fantastic time you guy.
