Heading West

Across the USA

I don’t have too many pictures of our trip West. All we did was drive, pull into a campground and head out in the morning. We didn’t do any sight seeing.

  3. Headed home????? Why did you go through Atlanta ---if you were in VA and heading west???? Confusing.... We'd do most anything to avoid Atlanta when traveling.... ha

  4. That's really zooming across the country. I always feel better when I get west of the Mississippi.

  6. We still dub Atlanta as the worse traffic place ever. At least you were making time. Sometimes travel is all about getting some place and other times it's all about sightseeing. We've had both days.

  7. Sounds like you are making good time. We zipped thru Atlanta no problems a while ago.

  8. The photos were quite a summary of 1500 miles of driving across the U.S. In about 3 1/2 weeks we will be making the same trip, only it will be over 2000 miles of driving on our way to Tucson. Hope the weather holds up.

    Have fun out there.

  11. Originally, I come from New York right outside of Atlanta. Atlanta traffic IS horrible, and worse yet, it's land locked. I know exactly where that picture was taken. :) Jim, are you fishing, yet? Pats to Skitz and Skiddles, Sandie.

  13. I love the hitchhiker! Made me smile....
We always found going right thru Atlanta was better than taking the loop around it. Glad you are all settled in now in AJ.
