Tara brought Emmet over to visit. Good times
With the new chairs, carpet and quilt, I really hated the bench cushions. Jim agreed with me and we found some great material. Jim was going to make new cushion covers but he said he was going to borrow Judy’s sewing machine. I laughed and told him I doubted she had such a thing. I was right. We found someone to make them for us. Here are the results.
We went from this
To this
Jim redid the frames with matching buttons. Boy do they look good!
Skittlez has established her nest behind Jim’s chair. We had to help her get the stuff up on the platform so she could arrange it how she wanted it.
When Scooter isn’t relaxing on the bed she sometimes takes over Skittlez’s nest.
It’s hard to believe that we will be leaving here a week from tomorrow.
Very nice job with the cushions--so cheery!
ReplyDeleteLooking good with the redecorating and company to boot. Good day all around.
ReplyDeleteOooo, nice. Maybe I should recover our dinette cushions this winter.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the bungalow. She is looking prettier and prettier! Jim can sew, too??? Is there anything he can't do?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen pups get as "comfy" as S&S. They are so cute. My brother-in-law owned a miniature Doxie...boy was he smart and cute.
What a beautiful baby Emmet is.
Great job on the cushions. What do you mean you're leaving next week? Where are you going? It's still summer ... isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing wonderful information, it is really nice information.

I'm really impressed with all of the things Jim can do around the RV
ReplyDeleteThe cushion looks wonderful, great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice on the fabric. I can't wait to the four of you. I don't think I'll recognize the bungalow.
ReplyDeleteThat Jim is SUCH a clever handy-man! Love your new cushions!
ReplyDeleteAre you heading for Arizona already?
ReplyDeleteThey look good. Are you following 90 across South Dakota. We leave here on the 24th and will be heading to Des Moines. Keep in touch. Maybe we can meet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We need to stop in Des Moines for a day or two,
ReplyDeleteCan't believe how much little sleeping Emmet looks like me. That's the same pose I try to be in most of the day. Got to get in my daily nap(s) now that I'm retired! ;c)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie Emmet is.
ReplyDeleteThe covering looks great. Good job.
Skittlez just cracks me up!!!

Funny pics of Scooter and Skittlez.
ReplyDeleteAww...the girls are so cure. The benches look great! It is fun for me to see your changes because we saw the before and get to see the after!
ReplyDeleteYou've done so much to your trailer! Glad it has worked out well for you all! What are your plans, route as you head out next week? We look forward to time with you both whenever our paths might cross next! Be well!
ReplyDeleteLove the doggie beds. They sure get comfy, don't they?
ReplyDeleteBabies are so funny the way they lay - feet out, arms out, etc. So darn cute. And of course the doggies - don't you just love it when they're in their beds? I love the new cushions, much better than the original fabric. I'd sure love to have tan cushions, but what I have hides the dirt so well, I'll probably keep them forever. :)
ReplyDeleteThose benches are beautiful. I guess all our puppies like soft places.
