Don’t Know Where My Brain Went

AJ, AZ   High 111  Low 85

I made the mistake of trying to download Windows 10 and there went all my gigabytes. So I’m not reading any blogs for awhile. I’m going to try and find time to get to the library to use their Wi-Fi.

Jim is doing good. Still has some pain but it gets less every day. Our plans are to leave here on the 23rd. But that all depends on the weather. We’ve had a couple of strong storms go through but no microbursts so damage has been minimal. Thank goodness.

See you later.

  1. Terry said when he was in Phoenix, there was a good storm that passed through.

I'm glad you're starting to plan your departure and that Jim is doing better.

  2. Of all the things I've lost in my life, it's the brain that I miss the most... ;c)

  3. I'm putting off the Windows 10 thing. If I learned anything about Windows in 25 years, it is to not be an early adopter.

Had a microburst of sorts the other night. Damaged my awning, but not enough to do an insurance hit. I may take some rtv and seal things up. It is on the part that is outside of my screened porch. I was standing there watching it move up and down and just waiting for it to peel completely back and expose everything on my porch. Nothing I could do other than watch. Thankfully the rain started and the wind died down.

  4. You need to go through the settings and check the privacy settings! Heard on the news the other night that Google uses OUR bandwidth for their interactions somehow and to Not download 10 for now. Sneaky! Research it...also privacy settings.
I was on the verge of downloading it until I heard this...
    Love your blog...

  5. So, did Windows 10 download completely and did you install it?

Re Donna's comments: Google has nothing to do with Windows 10 (Microsoft) and the Windows 10 cannot use OUR bandwidth for anything unless we manually change a setting to give permission to share. The report is false.

  12. Happy to hear that Jim is feeling better and you're planning your departure.

I bought Mary a new lap top and whatever version of windows that it has is really strange. All pictures/icons, I had to search how to shut the system down. Good luck getting 10 squared away.
