What Do I Do Now?

AJ, AZ  - Highs in the 90s and lows in the lower 60s

I received an e-mail that Blog2Print is going out of business. This is the service that I have used since 2008 to make a paper book of my blog every year. I know the blog is online but there may come a time when I am not able to use a computer but I can still hold a book in my hands and look at the pictures. So this e-mail made me very sad.

There are several alternatives to Blog2Print but that means I have to learn a whole new program and I am dreading that. I guess that means I'm getting old and my brain is wearing out. So if any of you out there who may still be reading my blog (there's not many of you left), have used a different program I sure would appreciate knowing which one you chose and if you like it.

Or maybe it is time for me to retire my blog as many blogging friends have done. I'm just not sure what route I'm going to take.

In other news, my hot water tank is being replaced as I write.

I will be ordering one more blog book before time runs out the middle of this month so I am including several pictures of Elias and Michaela and her family. Mom and Elias were in Washington State for a Celebration of Life for her sister, Annie.

  1. Love the photos!! I got that same email from Blog2Print but since I no longer blog, I figured I would ignore it. I am SUPER glad I have all my blogs in print though. Good memories. What I have done since I quit blogging, is make books on Shutterfly. The only problem is, you would have to retype your text. As far as I know, they don't have an option to import text. You might want to check it out. I love the books I have had made through Shutterfly. Lots of creative options.

    1. As far as retyping your text, i wonder if you would be able to do a "copy & paste?"

  2. We had never thought of making our Blog into a book, but now things might change.
Once you are part of the RV Blogging Family, everyone continues to read, it's just they fail to let us know by commenting.
Elias is really starting to grow.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  3. Got nothing for you Sandie, but I do enjoy reading your adventures. 😉

  4. We ordered our last Blog2Print book last week as well. That will bring us current through 2023. I have been looking at the one you sent me a link for. That looks like a pretty good option.

  5. I have never heard of blog books. Such a great idea. I always give each of my kids a photo book for Christmas with pictures of them, their families and family get togethers.

  6. I've been thinking about doing this. I guess I should have thought faster. If you find a good alternative, could you please post it? I'm surprised this is happening, I know several people who print their blogs yearly.

Thanks for visiting today. I look forward to reading your comments. Have a beautiful day.
