Wednesday night we had a blogger get together at Superstition Skies so we could listen to Brant and Kerry. Both Jim and Rod did wonderful write ups on our fun time so I’m going to refer you to their pages.
It was wonderful to see everybody again but the place was packed and so loud it was hard to carry on any kind of a conversation. I “borrowed” this picture from Jim’s blog.
Starting on the left: Rod, Phil, Max, Diana, Me and Jim.
Jimbo was taking the picture because the waitress was way too busy to take one for us. Some of these folks we won’t see again until next year. Have a great summer everyone.
In the back room they were having a birthday party. Look at this great present. The birthday girl has five long dogs living at her house. Love it.
Diana and Phil stopped by today to check out Jim’s backup camera. I think Diana is going to get one for her truck and Phil is going to install it for her.
That’s all from AJ.
The back up camera on my truck is broken, too. Dodge was supposed to have had it fixed (they charged me for it), but it doesn't work. Makes hitching a heck of a lot easier AND it's nice to know what's behind me. I have to look into it, soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the "long" dog. Glad you have such good friends and such good times together. :)
I really liked Superstition Skies. Kerry and Grant are pretty great too. The birthday girl better watch a few of those gifts or she may find them at your house.
ReplyDeleteLooks like all of you were having a great time - and I like that long dog too!
ReplyDeleteYour winter will be winding down soon. Any idea when you will go back to Montana?
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that winter is over. Looking forward to seeing you this summer.
ReplyDeleteI spent waaaaay too much time in loud bar type places many years ago. Even a noisy restaurant will have me heading for the door now. Can't believe how fast the Winter went & here it is Spring already. How did that happen so quickly. I remember about 3 years ago around now we were staying in your area at the Lost Dutchman near Superstition Mountain.
ReplyDeleteSpring is here and now we are all heading back north. Looks like a real great get together you had there.
ReplyDeleteWe can't believe it is already spring. Time sure flies these days!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I feel the same about noisy restaurants. So hard to hear anyone except the people sitting next to you! So sweet to know there are kiddos who are longdog fans--having a pet is so good for children and a longdog is even better! I always ask children I see if they have pets & it's a good sign for me when they not only have family pets but they participate in their care AND love them!
ReplyDeleteAND it must've been wonderful to have dinner with fellow bloggers! Loved the photo!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you could get a job as a social director, Sandie. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's always a treat to get together with fellow bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI love listening to music but not when I can't carry on a conversation. Still, it was nice of y'all to get together one last time.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had fun, looks like a great group!
ReplyDeleteI sure enjoyed seeing everyone, but agree it was a bit loud. Thanks for the invite.
ReplyDeleteWell I STILL don't have my fancy back-up camera installed. I 'specks it may have to wait until next year when Jim can install it for me. LOL
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to hear a conversation even when there is no background noise. Me, getting older? Nah... ;c)
ReplyDeleteIt was great seeing everyone - thanks for inviting the guys! Unfortunately the backup camera is on hold - its expected delivery time is 3-5 weeks! So I'll have to wait until this summer when I'm visiting friends. But thanks for all the info!
ReplyDeleteNice picture of you all. The Dachshund is a pinata? or a ceramic guy .... whatever, how cute! And me too... can't hear well a'tall in that kind of environment... BUT it's still fun when you're with fun people no matter where you are,,, huh ;)
