Reno Sights

P1060722The world’s tallest climbing wall located in downtown Reno. Opened in 2011 this wall features a 164 foot climbing wall which is 40 feet taller than the one in the Netherlands. It has 2900 square feet of overhanging bouldering surface.

It has the only official 15-meter speed wall in the United States and has a peak of 190 feet above street level for experienced climbers.

This extensive collection of guns is located in Sierra Sid’s Casino which is attached to a truck stop.

The motorcycles are noisy and we are definitely ready to head out tomorrow morning. I still have a couple of posts from this area but I’ll get caught up eventually.

    Always love seeing pictures of Reno. Have a lot of personal history there...including Chapel of the Bells, where Russ and I were married!

    We never got to Reno, but will have to make it a stop when we get there. I don't think I'll try the climbing wall.

    Reno can keep the climbing wall. I will never do that!

    We haven't hit Reno...yet. Maybe this winter? But if there is snow...no way.

    Don't understand climbing walls. but that's a very nifty one! ;)

    Haven't been to Reno in eons... and some of Elvis' stuff is there... I never.
