I was shocked this morning to read Rod's blog that he had lost his beautiful bride, Loyce. She died very unexpectedly just seven days after they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
I am so grateful that I got to know Loyce and Rod. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who loved her grandkids more than she did. And her talents were amazing. The world is a sadder place without her beautiful smile.
Our prayers and thoughts are with Rod and their family at this difficult time
I never had the pleasure of meeting this lady, but have read Rod's blog for quite some time. Really makes me so sad for Rod.... and makes me stop and think about my own mortality and how much I love Bill and my own family - my heart just goes out to Rod and all of Blogland... such a sad loss.
ReplyDeleteYou just have to appreciate every day you're given. Life is too short. :c(
