Still checking off our to-do list. We went to Dianna’s house on our way to get the oil changed in the truck. She needed help disconnecting her Direct TV and hooking up an over-the-air antenna.
Saturday morning, Mickey and Ginny headed north to Show Low. Didn’t get very far. About 40 miles out they blew a tire on their RV. Ended up having to come back to Mesa to get four new tires and then tried again. They are now settled in their spot in Show Low but as you can see, some repair work needs to be done.
Saturday night we met Key for dinner at Garcia’s. He is leaving Phoenix on Tuesday and we wanted to say goodbye. Forgot to take the camera.
Got the fridge defrosted. Renewed our Elks membership. Jim finished waxing the rig. And so on.
This morning Jim needed to run the gas out of the carburetor in the boat and get stabil in it. The girls and I decided we wanted to go with him.
We had a great time – at least I know Jim and I did. The girls – not too sure.
Still have more items on the list but it’s getting shorter.
looks like it was a great day to be out on the water!! ..the girls may not have thought so?
ReplyDeleteAh, the girls look like they are up for anything!!! :)

ReplyDeleteEspecially liked the photo of Jim driving the boat with a pup on his lap :) sure hope it will work to see you both in Albuquerque!
ReplyDeleteGood to see that pre-trip list getting shorter, not long now. Nice pictures of Jim and the girls. Have a great Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely way past time for you to hit the road and head north.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to make headway on the To-Do list. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of the 'girls' in the boat with their life jackets!
ReplyDeleteSo if you run the gas out of the boat do you have to paddle back to shore? Not sure I'd want to go along for that trip. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG Get out of that heat !!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, the girls in their life jackets!
ReplyDeleteThe girls look so sweet in their little life vests! Well, here I am at Storrie Lake. Not my plan at all, but here is where I ended up a month early. If you make it up here, I hope to see you. :)
