MOC - Circle the Montanas

Quartzsite, AZ  High 74  Low 41

MOC – Montana Owners Club

This is the 9th year that the MOC has circled the RVs in Quartzsite. We have never camped with this group and decided this year would be a good time to join in.

When we arrived on Tuesday the circle was starting to fill in. They have a long yellow rope that is attached to a stake pounded in the ground at the center of the circle. The parking crew straightens out the rope and then guides you so you are straddling the rope. They have a line drawn on the ground that shows where they need you to stop so we are all aligned in the circle. Pretty nifty.

This is the other side of the circle from us.

Our rig is the one sitting to the left of our silver truck.

Some of the group gathering for our first happy hour.

Ray and Jim discussing who knows what. Ray’s wife, Cindy, has a really bad cold so I’m hoping she feels better before the end of the gathering.

We have a huge fire pit.

The moon rising over the circle.

It’s fun to be camped with all these folks who own the same type of rig. Lots of discussions about floor plans and problems and solutions. From day one everyone has been so friendly. Those of us who are new to the circle have a pink sticker on our name tags. Everyone stops to talk and say hi.

  1. Did I know you guys have a Montana and I just forgot? That's possible. Kewl! Sure would like to be there one of these days and I'm glad you're enjoying it. We attended the 2012 NE Regional Rally in Lancaster, PA. It was so groovy to be with a group of other Montanas. Enjoy!
