1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the Sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen.
Have a beautiful Easter Day.
He is risen, indeed, God is so good! He died but yet, defeated death and rose on that third day...why? He paid the penalty for all our sins. Thanks to HIM, if we choose to follow Him, we live forever...everlasting life..... Thanks Sandie.
ReplyDeleteHe is risen, indeed. Happy Easter, Sandie and Jim!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Sandie! It's another one of those ... remember the reason.
ReplyDeleteHe is Risen indeed! Happy and blessed Easter to you both!
ReplyDeleteJust remembering how every Easter, before sunrise, my brothers and I had to move our piano out of our house (parsonage), down the steps, across the parking lot and up the steps to the front of the church so my dad (the pastor) could conduct the sunrise service. Then move the piano back again after the service and before the start of Sunday School.
ReplyDeleteOur piano was very well traveled! And my back is still sore... :c)
Thank you Sandie!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
