Apache Junction, AZ High 68 Low 52 Rain
We have rain. Welcome, wonderful rain. But we also have wind and that’s not as welcome. We didn’t get near as much rain as they had predicted we would but we got about 1/2 inch.
The storm is moving out and the race out at PIR (Phoenix International Raceway) should be good to go. Jim and my brother-in-law, Don, are going to the race and we’ve had our fingers crossed that the weather would cooperate. Jim is making sure that all of the radios work and Skittlez is helping out.
Aunt Happy is home. We’re going to try and stop by and see her on Monday.
We have been busy and I’ll tell you all about it after March 10. I will give you a hint – we drove over 350 miles on Thursday.
That’s about it from here.
Sunset picture from a couple of nights ago.
I don't have any idea about that little mystery.
ReplyDeleteYour not nice leaving us hanging like that...:)
ReplyDelete...I don't handle suspense very good!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope the race is good to go...It was a long Sunday last week!
Good news about Aunt Happy.
Now you are taking up our driving habits!
ReplyDeleteCan't even venture a guess ...... Good for Aunt Happy !!!!
ReplyDeleteMy guess . . Buying property in Yuma. ? ? ?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Happy is home now.
ReplyDeleteMarch 10 is a long time to wait!
At least you're on the road doing something. I think you like that.
ReplyDeleteGlad the weather was good to you and the race went on! Glad Aunt Happy is home. Have no idea where you are. Most of the time I had no idea where I was when I was traveling. :) March 10. Hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteIs your secret similar to ours that I just announced yesterday????
ReplyDeleteGlad Aunt Happy is home.
I don't know if I can wait until March 10.
ReplyDeleteShould I make a comment?
ReplyDeleteSince I have a wild imagination, you don't even want me to post my guesses ;-)
ReplyDeleteYea! Aunt Happy is home. I am sure she is a much happier Aunt Happy now.
ReplyDeleteFabulous Sunset!! So glad Aunt Happy is home. There's no place like it on earth.
ReplyDeleteWe had one horrible windy day in Q - sand is EVERYWHERE in the rig. And then lots of rain that night and the next day.
ReplyDeleteBut 2 days of 'bad' weather the entire Winter - well no complaining here.
A teaser huh ! You bad. BUT I have a feeling I might know. We'll see.
That sure is a long travel day, waiting to hear the secret....
ReplyDeleteYes, rain here in Benson, also. Some wind, but lots of wonderful rain. Don't know how much, but should help the desert and maybe bring forth lots of wildflowers :) And, what's with all you folks and your "teasers"? Cute :)
ReplyDeleteIf it's a road race, then I'm sure it's a "go". With drag racing, just a few drops of rain will put an end to everything.
ReplyDeleteI'm too lazy to do a search.
Good news on Aunt Happy. We'll await your news.
MARCH 10??? That's too long to wait! I think you've purchased a lot or a house. I also think you should keep posting hints. Please? LOL (I'm a terrible waiter, but I'll try.) :)
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful sunset! I was looking forward to the snow on Mt. Lemmon. Pooh! Cool in Tucson but at least we aren't back east where my family is-6 to 9" more snow!
ReplyDeleteGreat sunset pic! Arizona is the place to be.
ReplyDeleteBill
Can't wait for the mystery to be solved.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Aunt Happy home again. She's probably in a better mood now!!
