Apache Junction, AZ High 61 Low 34
Spent a very quiet New Years Day. Did some laundry and took down Christmas decorations.
Today we went to the Escapees Chapter Luncheon at Mickey D’s restaurant here in Apache Junction. Great group of people.
Jim also got his Tonto National Forest yearly pass. With his America the Beautiful Pass it is only $15. Both this pass and his fishing license expired on December 31. Tomorrow we will get the fishing license renewed. That will be a more expensive since we aren’t AZ residents.
This evening we went to the movie that was shown up at our clubhouse. Big Miracle. Wonderful family movie about the saving of the whales that were trapped at Barrow, AK in 1988.
Started making lists of the things we need to get done before we head out to Quartzsite.
We love it when Mom brings home warm blankets from the laundromat.
Lists are good. They keep us focused on being sure we don't forget something. I haven't started a list but certainly will before we head to WINCO. Groceries are much more expensive there than here.
ReplyDeleteSee ya!
The girls look so cute and cozy in their nice warm blankets!!
ReplyDeletecute little ol cozy dawgs.... hahaa
ReplyDeleteI make lists but they seem to disappear ... I truly don't know how that happens...
Oliver, the kitty loves the laundry fresh from the dryer, too!!
ReplyDeleteLoyce is really dragging her feet on the Q deal... She doesn't feel secure when she is boondocked... I want to go, but then without her it won't be much fun....
ReplyDeleteAhhh, cute puppers...
ReplyDeleteI like warm blankets too, kids.
ReplyDeleteI work from lists, too. Unfortunately, I often lose them and wander around aimlessly. Good thing my head's attached (I think). ;c)
ReplyDeleteI am sure he will get his money's worth on the fishing license:)
ReplyDeleteLoved the dachsie picture. They all love blankets....no matter how warm it is.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, licenses. I actually managed to get my license plates on my new RV before the temporary expired. Bit by bit I'm getting ready for Q.
ReplyDeleteHowdy S&J,
ReplyDeleteLove the girls in the 'blankies'!!!!
How adorable! Our doxies do the same thing when I bring out blankets from the dryer. Sometimes one of them will jump into the basket as I unload it.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you guys at Q !
