I could not figure out how to get back to the old format of blogger. I’ve been using the new format since way back when. When I clicked on my “wrench” per Rick’s blog, I didn’t come up with an option to go back to the old format.
I’ve been reading everything I could find and all of a sudden I realized I had a check box that said to make blogger draft my default. That box was checked so I unchecked it and clicked on dashboard. It brought up the old format and then I could go into settings and change that word verification thing.
So now I need somebody to comment and let me know if what I did worked. Thanks guys.
Hi, computers are a pain, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteDid not have to put in those crazy words.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it worked!
ReplyDeleteAh, there you go! I'm pretty sure we'd all have some pretty frustrating moments if Rick didn't pipe up once in a while and give some classes.
ReplyDeleteIf I could just remember stuff, that would help a lot.
Nice to see you've figured it out, AND that Jim is back home.
Congrats, Sandie. No more word verification - it's gone!
ReplyDeleteYay! It worked. Now, if I could figure out how to make it work on WordPress without getting all the spammers back...
ReplyDeleteBoy this is really DNS, Definitely Not Shabby, looks like your up and running again. Now relax and have a beer. Sam & Donna...
ReplyDeleteJust one little click on a check box can change the entire world!!!
ReplyDeleteWorked like a charm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to get comments-just ask fro them:)
ReplyDeleteOkay - making a comment hahahaha!! Glad you got it fixed.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to comment on a number of blogs this last week, and they don't appear at all!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try that now.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, it worked.
Lookin good:))
ReplyDeleteLooks fine to me too! Glad you removed verification!
ReplyDeleteI removed mine too (I hope) - I got a lot of spam comments yesterday, but Blogger recognized they were spam and put them in the spam box. Makes me a little nervous, but so far, so good.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, those pesky blogger settings. I recommend the "embed below post" option under comment settings. Blogger has finally created the ability to "reply" to comments with this selection.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took the word verification off. :)
ReplyDeleteWith this new, awful change in the verification, I decided today that I'm not commenting anymore if I have to type in the words. I hope everyone using it will change their settings. :)
I hate that stuff, too.
