Catching up with Special Friends

Apache Junction, AZ  High 93  Low 62

This is going to be a short post because my hand is really giving me grief. Even using the pad thingie that moves the cursor hurts.

John and Diane pulled into our park this week and it is so good to see them. It’s been over two years since we were last together. We first met them in Sedalia, MO at an Escapees Escapade. They have spent the last coupe of years gate guarding in Texas and they love it. Listening to all their snake stories, I’m not sure I could handle it.

It’s really sad when it takes visitors to introduce you to a great new restaurant. Diane and John use an app called Food Tripping and wanted to try out the Handlebar Pub and Grill here in AJ. Well, let me tell you. We will definitely be headed back there next Fall. They have grass fed beef burgers and my mushroom burger was wonderful.

Thanks guys for spending some of your time with us.

I also want to wish all Mothers a very happy Mother’s Day. Jim’s fixing me chicken wings on the grill. YES!!

  1. I still remember Sedala and all the fun we had. That was our first Escapade. John and Diane look like they lost weight since we last saw them.

  7. Haven't heard of that app but will certainly check it out. I had a hamburger yesterday and could hardly find any beef in it at all so doubting it was grain-fed ... or it even ate for that matter.
