I figure I really need to apologize. I guess I should have said that Scooter got away from us rather than we lost her. But I want you all to know that when one of the girls dies it won’t just be a mention in a paragraph somewhere in the post. I’m hoping it isn’t anytime soon but Scooter is now 13 and Skittlez is 11, so they are getting older just like Jim and I.
I’m sitting at the laundromat and my internet connection is working just fine. Guess I’ll just have to make a trek down to their parking lot whenever I can so I can read blogs and make posts.
Life is pretty routine. I did go to lunch with my sister and three of her friends. They have a girls’ lunch every month. We’re supposed to get some severe weather tomorrow afternoon and that’s about all our news from here.
I love time with my sister! Have fun at lunch.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy spending time with your sister whenever you can. Hope your weather isn't too severe. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that most everyone I know has an elderly dog, and you just know what lies ahead. It makes me hesitant about getting another one because I would definitely get a senior dog, and then one of us would lose the other!
ReplyDeleteI think one of the best parts of you being in that area is the time you get to spend with your sister. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteNo excuse for not doing the laundry now.
ReplyDeleteThat post scared me too. I was glad to hear the pups are both okay.
ReplyDeleteJust what we all need--a good reason to do laundry!
ReplyDeleteMust be all the soapsuds that cleaned up your internet connection... :cD
ReplyDeleteYou can see how much we all love and care about the pups! And you and Jim. As much fun as it is reading about RVing people and adventures and places, it's really nice to read about the pets, too. I was just happy that everything was fine.
ReplyDeleteKind of a pain to have to go to the Laundromat to get Internet, but as addicted as I am, it would probably do me good to have to leave The Palms to get on-line. LOL You seem to be taking it well.
Glad you and your sis are having a good time. :)
I know what you mean. When we saw your title on that blog we thought we had gone to Doggie Heaven. Glad that wasn't the case. Duchess turns 12 in a few days. She's not as young as she used to be for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter how old our dog friends get, it's always tragic when they go. Hope you're doggies live to a ripe old age.
ReplyDeleteenjoy the lunch with your sister!! boy, this time last year we were heading to Montana! new adventures this year!!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm not a dog person but you had me, too, worried for a minute. I know what those pups mean to you two and how lost you would be without them.
ReplyDeleteYour headline this time took me back to our early married life when I used to sit at the laundromat and write weekly letters to my Mom. I wonder how many years it's been since I wrote an actual letter?
Now that is a connected life-internet at the laundry:)
ReplyDeleteI have also had difficulty staying connected on the Internet in many of the places I have been in MT. Of course some spots (in the mountains) I cannot get anything. Where I am at now I get it but it cuts out a lot. Trying to catch up on all my blog posting and reading.
