PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED

Eventually. After I learn the lessons of patience and faith.

Challenger As you know, we own two RV’s. The fifth wheel we’re living in and a motorhome that we’ve had on consignment in Montana. We’ve had to continue to make the monthly payments on the motorhome as well as keep it insured and licensed. That left us really strapped money wise but it also caused me to worry about the future. (What, me worry?)

Things like – what if Jim were to die. I couldn’t afford to continue the payments on the motorhome with just my income. So what would I do. And vice versa – what would Jim do if I were to die. I know, I know – I worry about “what if” situations until I make myself sick. Jim always says he never has to worry because I do it all. Even my son has learned to accept that his Mom will drive him crazy with her worrying.

I spend a whole lot of time asking the Lord to help me deal with this problem of mine and sometimes I can let it go and let Him take over. But I think this is one of those battles I will have to fight until I meet Him again.

Then there are the times when He takes great pity on me and wipes out that thing I am worrying about.

2008 Damon CHALLENGER 377 (Used)
Stock #: CR-11-029
Class: Class A Gas
Interior Color: TAN
SOLD!

YES!! our motorhome has sold. We truly did not think that it would sell within the next couple of years. With fuel prices rising and the economy not doing so well, our hopes were pretty well shattered. But with 20 gas Class A motorhomes to choose from, these people wanted ours. I am so grateful for this wonderful blessing in our lives.

  1. Happy, happy day !

He loves you, sweet friend! I have a problem with worry sometimes, myself. To combat it, I try and imagine what the Lord feels like (since He created emotions, He surely knows what they feel like!) when He says He will do something if we ask Him to, and then we act like we don't believe in Him. I tend to put it on a man/woman level. Like, if I asked my imaginary husband to please help me with something and then try to do it myself because I don't trust him. How would my husband feel? And how would God feel on a million times the intensity level! "I said I would do it---why didn't she believe me?"

  5. I'm so glad for you that you have one less thing to worry about. My life has become so much better since I quit worrying - I do fret about some things now and then, but not really worry. I go with the flow of the Universe and everything works out somehow, at the best possible timing.

  7. Wow, if we could all just harness that worry power what energy we would have! lol I've always been a bad "what ifer". I'm learning, or should I say slowly learning to turn it over and leave it alone. Have no problem turning it over to the Lord, it's the leaving it alone then part I have trouble with. lol Guess I need to get on here and read more often, didn't know u had another motorhome. I've been looking around for something a bit newer and larger. Right now we're just looking but if we find the right one....
So glad ur's sold, now u can relax and enjoy life again.
I can relate well to palamine - I get very nervous when things are going good. lol
    Happy days to u both!

  11. Oh, that's wonderful news, Sandie! I am so happy for you and Jim. It's not an easy feat to sell a motorhome in these times so I'm sure it sold because of the extra special attention it received from you.

    Congratulations!

  14. You have given us encouraging news. We are so happy yours sold. We will soon be putting our 1996 32' Rexhall Aerbus on Consignment along with our tow car a 2006 Malibu. God is faithful and in His time it will happen for us too. Nice thing for us also is we are in no hurry because we can't travel for now anyway. If an when it sells we will be looking for something between a 19ft' Pleasure Way type rig to no more than a 25' Class C motor home.

Congratulations on the sale!! I too, also was sweating you getting rid of that motorhome at this time.. They WANTED IT and that's a good thing; not having to give it away.. Tell that old man to stay out from under the trailer; he's doing okay, not WONDERFUL!! If he feels that good go over and help Kelly & Al on their 'new' home!! YEAH RIGHT!!!
