Jim went to see his surgeon today and he is doing so well that he has no restrictions. It’s only been six weeks and I am just amazed that he has recovered so completely and so rapidly.
He has no back pain but his legs cramp when he walks. He talked to the doctor about this and was told this is normal. Back surgery can produce leg cramps and also he is walking differently then he did when his back hurt so bad. This will eventually go away.
Jim hasn’t had to take any Tylenol for so long I can’t remember when he last had any. He used to live on the stuff which is not good for you. No more.
I’m hoping he still watches what he is doing and bends properly using his legs and core more than his back. And no lifting things – like the generator by himself.
He is so excited.
It's like having a second chance at living! So glad for you both.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that Jim has done so well healing up and that he has been released and is able to enjoy life pain free! Enjoy that fishing trip and catch one for me.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! When is the fish fry?
ReplyDeletebicyclist eat bananas to prevent leg cramps, the potassium in the banana has something to do with it.
