JIM GETS TO GO FISHING

funny fishing pic

Jim went to see his surgeon today and he is doing so well that he has no restrictions. It’s only been six weeks and I am just amazed that he has recovered so completely and so rapidly.

He has no back pain but his legs cramp when he walks. He talked to the doctor about this and was told this is normal. Back surgery can produce leg cramps and also he is walking differently then he did when his back hurt so bad. This will eventually go away.

Jim hasn’t had to take any Tylenol for so long I can’t remember when he last had any. He used to live on the stuff which is not good for you. No more.

I’m hoping he still watches what he is doing and bends properly using his legs and core more than his back. And no lifting things – like the generator by himself.

He is so excited.

  17. Wonderful news for Jim and for you. It's difficult to watch the one you love suffer any kind of pain. I remember after cervical spine I felt like I was reborn even with the surgical pain. Then things just got better from there on. Glad to hear it's the same for Jim.

Let Sandie hook-up the boat and put it in the water, then get in and FISH!!! There aren't any fish, except
