Thanks Barbara for reminding me that I wanted to include an update on Skitz. I totally spaced it out.
We got the test results on the blood work and she does NOT have Valley Fever which is great news. They didn’t find any infection which was causing the fever so the vet wanted us to finish up the antibiotics just in case.
She is doing much better. She still is having some pain so still on pain pills which make her sleep a lot. I almost think she may have cracked a rib or bruised it somehow. We’re going to let her heal for another week and then see how she is doing. If she’s not better by then, it’ll be back to the vet for x-rays.
Poor little Skittles, hope she bounces back soon. It's so sad to see your little friend not feeling herself.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that everything is good with Skittles. Hopefully, she'll stay that way too.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just wish they could talk and tell you their troubles?
ReplyDeleteGlad it wasn't Valley Fever, that is awful, hope she back to 100% very soon.
ReplyDeletePoor little girl...hope she gets to feeling better really soon. Wow! Too many under the weather all at once.
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful news. One less thing to worry about.
ReplyDeleteGlad she seems better, it takes a long time for them to get better, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the good news.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear Skittlez is feeling better. We are VERY hopeful for Parker too. He is eating endlessly.
ReplyDeleteGlad it wasn't Valley Fever. Hoping her pain gets better too. Love to you Skittlez.
ReplyDeleteMustang Sally sends doggy kisses and hopes Skittlez is feeling better very soon!
