Jim received a call this morning that broke our hearts. His very best fishing buddy died this morning.
Jim and Bill have so many of the same loves – fishing, Chevy trucks, fifth wheels, more fishing, the automotive business, and they both married women from Sidney, MT.
They met at the Chevy dealership in Billings, MT when Jim was his boss. His wife, Carol, knew my parents however, we had not met before the guys got together.
Our love and prayers are with Carol and family at this very sad time. We love you guys.
Oh Sandie......so sorry to hear about this. This time of life is filled with so many of our loved one's leaving us behind....it is just HARD!! Read your last few posts and looks like you and Jim have a few things ahead of you.....just know that prayers are being sent and positive thoughts as well.

Dear Sandie and Jim, Thank you so very much for the kind and wonderful words and thoughts..I am so thankful that Bill called and talked to Jim on Sunday evening...I guess it was Sunday nite...I remember Bill asking me if there was a time difference and if it was too late to call. Jim, "HE" and I are BOTH wishing you all the best with your surgery on the 6th, and grant Sandie all the care she will continue to give to you, it would have been our 52nd Wedding Anniversary, which means IT IS A VERY LUCKY DAY!! Love to you both!! Carol
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the loss of Jim's buddy. Have been catching up reading your blog. Hope Jim's surgery comes out well - we have a friend having his today - he had a 100% blockage. 70 degrees sounds like a cold wave - hope it has warmed up for you. Take care and blog an update whenever you have time.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss. We are getting to the age when friends will pass but somehow I don't know if we are ever ready for it.
