BACK IN THE DRIVEWAY

We’re back in our son’s driveway in Billings, MT.

After leaving Fort Phil Kearny we decided to go into Buffalo, WY and find a place to have some dinner. That’s easier said than done. It was 4:00 in the afternoon and the first three restaurants we tried were either only open for breakfast and lunch or didn’t open until 5:00 for dinner.

IMG_2940 We did find the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse and had a wonderful dinner. Would definitely recommend this place. Also had a great waitress which just makes the visit even more enjoyable.

IMG_2939 This is a weather rock that is right out front of the restaurant. It seems to me this is a better way to get the weather than to listen to the weatherman.

Our jacks decided to die when we stopped at La DeSmet and that’s a whole different blog. So for now I’ll leave you with Scooter’s opinion on the world.

  4. Scooter is toooo funny! I read Christian writer, Traci Peterson. This last series I am reading is set in Montana...Galltin Crossings outside Bozeman. She tells how the railroad came to Bozeman and all about that area. It is really a great series. Soooo, I know where you actually are located.
So sorry to hear about the jacks. Need to get you two back on the road!

  6. We have problematic hydraulic jacks as well and I always try to avoid using the darned things if I don't have to. They can be a real pain in the butt!!

  11. I think I got out of RVing just in time to retain my sanity. I always worried about something happening that would keep me stuck when I didn't want to be, and in my case I was having bad premonitions about the slides. Hope you are soon fixed up and ready to go.
