STILL WAITING

It really is hard to blog when you’re just sitting, waiting for the part to come in. Supposed to be here this afternoon – we’ll see.

Jim did go fishing twice which helps calm him down. Got skunked one day and had a great day of catching the second. No pictures though.

I’ve been reading blogs, cleaning our drawers and cupboards, and reading.

IMG_2322 The girls keep me good company. The other night Skittlez was acting really weird and kept hanging out over the heat vent. I finally looked down into the vent and a piece of dog food had fallen down in there. Well, we couldn’t have that. So she helped Dad get it out of there.

IMG_2321 We’ve (me and the girls) have spent a lot of time with Zoey and they are actually starting to play together. Now the problem is, Zoey is so much bigger and younger that I worry about her getting too rambunctious and hurting one of the girls’ backs. So I keep a close eye on them.

IMG_2319 Zoey does seem to prefer Skitz to Scootz but that’s because my Scootz is the alpha dog and let’s everybody know it.

Hopefully I’ll have news sometime next week.

  1. Our "children" are always something we can find to blog about. They are such characters. I wish they'd hurry up and get that spring fixed! At least part of the stress would go away.

  3. Nice to read your posts no matter what's going on. It's amazing how are dogs can find tiny bits of food in the strangest places.

  4. Skittlez makes me laugh. They are just like watching little kids play. Too cute!

  5. I hear what you're saying about waiting. It's not easy for me either blogging about running the generator and waiting for electricity. I hope I'm past that now. :)

  6. I know what you mean about blogging when there isn't too much going on. When we are stationary for a while, just "marking time" or waiting for something, there's not much to say. Just livin' our lives!

  7. Always like to hear about the fur kids and see pictures. That never gets old.

  8. Only thing better than a dog is two or three dogs. One of my favorite things used to be watching all our guys interacting with each other every day. They were a team of happy playful characters & provided us with countless hours of entertainment over the years....

  9. Just think how tidy your RV is going to be by the time you leave there!

I agree about pets helping keep you entertained. I have an entire series of photos of places our cat used to sleep. Some of them make my back hurt just looking at them. For instance, he would go to sleep lying on the back of the couch then let his front half slide down to the seat while his back half stayed up top. What I wouldn't give to be that flexible. :)

  10. Hope you don't have to wait too much longer for the part. It is hard when you want to get going and do some more exploring. Glad Jim had one good day fishing and the dogs are enjoying each others company.
