I just wanted to let everybody know that my Dad died last night so it will be a few days before I do any posting again. We're headed for Sidney, MT and hope to be in Billings, MT tomorrow night.
Dad had a wonderful life and he died in his sleep in his own apartment which is what he wanted. He had a great day Sunday with good friends and on Monday, the "girls" at the assisted living home bought him some new clothes that he was excited about. Monday evening he played Bingo and then went to his apartment to bed. He's with Mom and the rest of the family now. No more pain or loneliness.

ReplyDeleteBe careful on the trip "home". You're in our thoughts. As we discussed, your father lived a long wonderful life. If we all had a choice, this is how we would choose to go. He's at peace -- no pain. Count all your blessings just being his daughter.
