I now have to get caught up on my blog posting. So we’re traveling backwards in time.
We had a fantastic time at the Bluegrass Festival. We found three bands that we absolutely loved. The others were good and we enjoyed every group.
I don’t know how many people were in attendance but there were a lot of us and the vast majority brought their RV’s with them.
They had two stages set up and the bands played both sides. Can you find us in this picture? This picture was taken by The Bluegrass Brethren and we are somewhere in there. I can’t find us either and I know we were there.
There were also a few vendors and a few food stands but their prices were pretty steep. Jim bought me a small bag of kettle corn which was $5 and he bought himself a waffle ice cream cone and that was $6.50. That was the end of our purchases. Thank goodness our rig was not too far so we could go have lunch at home.
We went to the festival with eight other rigs from our RV Park in Apache Junction. We were able to park together and the festival folks delivered a fire stove for us. They are made out of old washing machines. They also deliver the free firewood to your site.
We definitely had a good time and we are looking forward to more bluegrass next year.
After five days in Blythe it was time for us to go back down to Yuma for more dental work for Jim.
