Ginny demonstrates the correct way to enjoy a cream puff at our last pot luck for the season here at the park.
We also had a beautiful sunset to enjoy.
Today we went to Dianna’s house so Jim could install a battery cut-off switch on her trailer for her. Then she fed us a wonderful lunch which meant I didn’t have to worry about dinner.
Outside her front door she has a bird nest. I have no idea what kind of bird this is but he/she is definitely sitting on something.
Now I know why I do not eat cream puffs:)
ReplyDeleteHave I ever made you cream puffs? You can demonstrate how to eat them properly.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a dove in the nest. I read that there are usually 2 eggs in a dove's nest.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo of the dove! Speaking of sweet....humm, can you send a cream puff this way?
ReplyDeleteGinny must have a great sense of humor to let you publish that picture...hehehe
ReplyDeleteRemind me never to eat a cream puff in front of you...:-)
ReplyDeleteSeems like we all are coming to the end of another great winter away...
ReplyDeleteThat's about the best location I've ever seen for a mourning dove's nest. They are not very good at making nests...just a couple of sticks thrown together.
ReplyDeleteYou mean you have to take bites of a cream puff? I usually swallow it whole! :c)
ReplyDeleteI have a bird's nest in the gutter right next to my den window. Mother and Dad back and forth feeding or maybe still building the nest. It's too high to see if there are eggs or babies, yet, but there sure is activity.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I was a kid, my Dad brought home a cream puff for each of us. Not wanting to say I didn't want it, I was kind of pretending to eat it--that did not go unnoticed. Next thing I knew, he pushed it into my face! He and my brother and sister thought it was hysterical. I've never had another one since! LOL
That cream puff picture is priceless. Be careful though - revenge can be nasty!!
ReplyDeleteI love to hear the mourning doves early in the morning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset!
Go Ginny!
There's no bad way to eat a Cream Puff!
ReplyDeleteI love the dove nest - it's such a compliment, I think, for a bird to have their nest near where we live. It will be fun watching the babies when they hatch.
ReplyDeleteoh, how sweet ... looks like a mourning dove to me. we have them ~ thank goodness here ... just love to hear them
ReplyDeleteHAHaaaa she's a goooood cream puff eater... get er done! kind of eating... my kind of eating ~
Oh I love doves. She was so smart to build there. Safe. She will have the cutest babies. OK I love all birds, it is out there. Thanks for the cream puff laugh.
ReplyDeleteSure is HOT in AJ now. When it gets into the 90's that's too hot for me. You guys must be getting ready to leave soon ??
ReplyDeleteMMMMMMM, cream puffs. :)
ReplyDeleteI love cream puffs and don't care how I look eating one. We had a dove sitting on a nest in the palm tree out front. We had to trim around it and had to wait until the babies fledged before we finished.
ReplyDeleteHmm so how come this blog didn't pop up in my blog reader? Cream puffs mean bigger clothes. I've been struggling with that as it is. Heck I've been struggling with everything I eat recently. It's definitely time to bite that bullet and change my eating habits ... I guess.
ReplyDeleteLove those cream puffs....puff,puff,puff.....yeah!
ReplyDeleteGreat sunset
ReplyDeletecan't seem to figure out the email thing :( it would be SO neat to show you about and to get to meet you!!!! Hope it works for both of us ;0
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful sunset! Now I want a cream puff....
ReplyDeleteHey, isn't it time to update your blog? I guess your like us and not doing a lot of interesting things. We are winding down here in Tucson but plan on returning in the fall. Maybe we can get together in the fall if you are in the area.
ReplyDeleteSuzy & Jerry seem to be in a run of bad luck, but she is a trooper and will get through this.
it looks like you just go for the cream puff and nothing else matters. good to know
