CHINOOK RV PARK

We landed at the Chinook RV Park in Klamath, CA. This is a Passport America campground and for full hookups (50 amp) it was $13.50 a night, unlimited stay. Klamath is also only about 5 miles from the Pacific Coast.

Doesn't this look like a place that Jim would love?

It is right on the Klamath River which was just wonderful. I'm not sure I'd want to stay here in the summer though because I'm sure the campground would be filled with lots of families with children. I love kids but I do try to avoid them in the campgrounds if at all possible. Could it be that I'm getting old? Not me!

Jim, of course, had to have something to do besides fish while we were there, so out comes the handy dandy tools. I also made him go sight seeing with me so those pictures will be in the next post.

  1. Heck with Jim! Looks like a spot I'd like ... save the one next to you. We're on our way .... well, not quite.
