TIM'S RIVERSHORE AND FRIENDS

We made arrangements to catch up with a couple we used to hang with when we lived out here. I found a seafood restaurant online that got some good reviews so we decided to try it out.
We met up with John and Lee Duda at Tim's Rivershore which is located on the bank of the Potomac River. In order to find it you really need to use the directions on their website and have faith. You wind through a couple of miles of forest, cross the railroad tracks, and then turn left on a gravel road (sort of) beside the track. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to regret my choice.
However, it was sooo good. We sat outside right on the river so we could watch the boats arrive for lunch. And we had fabulous seafood. Raw Oysters, spiced shrimp, and crabcakes. This place is defiitely one we will come back to any time we are in this area.
