The Good Luck Duck became my 100th follower. That is just amazing to me. I want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read my blog and especially those who make a comment once in awhile.

I am not a writer nor a photographer. I definitely don’t post every day because most of the time I have nothing to say. I started this blog as a way for my Dad to follow along on our journey as full timers. When he died I decided it was something I wanted to continue because my memory has gotten so bad. I want to be able to look back and reread my posts about where we were and what we were doing in the last few years. Especially during those times when we aren’t doing anything besides just sitting somewhere.

So thanks again to all of you. You are very much appreciated.

Jim got the inverter installed today. Got the girls bathed and toenails clipped. Ran a few other errands. Maybe, just maybe we’ll be able to leave town on Tuesday.

Somebody forgot to tell Mother Nature that Fall has arrived in Billings. It was 91* yesterday and 93* today. A cold front is coming through Monday and the highs are only going to be in the low 80’s. Fall, what Fall?

So I will leave you with a picture of one of the trees that we saw last year when we spent the Fall in New England.

  1. It has been chilly here in KY. Enjoy those temps, it will get cool soon enough.
We started our blog exactly for the same reason...my dad. He still enjoys it, but now it is our dairy also.
Hope you two get out of there on Tuesday. Enjoy the ride.

  2. Well, I do read often. Just keeping track of my friends. Besides that I always find that picture of Scooter and Skittlez to be enjoyable.

  6. Isn't it amazing that people read our journal? It makes traveling solo a little easier for me. :)

  7. Just read Thursdays post too. What a great idea to donate tools to Habitat for Humanity! I will keep that in mind when we have to cull thru our 45 year collection of duplicate tools. Who needs 27 screwdrivers?

  9. I always feel it is most humbling that people want to read our blog and comment on our life. I thought folks would drop us off when we started part-timing but they haven't. They are friends no matter what!! I love it!!
Congratulations on your 100th follower!! Love your blog!

  12. As the other readers have said, congratulations on attaining 100 followers. I still have a ways to go, but I'm more than halfway there. We've been having warm weather, too, except for today--it's 60 degrees and raining. Do your temps cool down at night?

  17. That's one gorgeous tree. Makes me miss being back in the East. But, a couple more months and I'll be back home. In fact, I'll be home for a bit at the end of Oct....going to Rugy, TN. I'll post some on that I think.

I know what you mean about not having anything much to talk about. I've been trying to keep our blog to RV related things but that may change in time.

Thanks for reading and commenting on our blog. I just spoke to the DW and she's like me - we hope to have this settled this insurance week!!!! .....and I know what you must be thinking about a travel trailer! LOL

  18. Many congrats to you on meeting the 100 followers milestone! There is something quite soothing about reaching 100 isn't there? Love the photo of the tree, I cannot wait for our leaves to begin to fall and the colors of fall to blanket our town! ~Hugs, M

  20. Congrats on hitting the 100 followers. We think it is pretty neat that other people want to read about what we are doing. We started a blog to let our families know where we were and what we were doing, never thinking that other people would be interested in our travel. We love the way that other bloggers now feel sort of like a family.
